events (and leadership) with Synergy since its founder is now a board member
Since Synergy is a non profit corporation, it could not legally merge with Live the Dream.

Please be on time for this event as ‘MARK GROUP’ starts sharply at 11:30 am.
In the 70s, More House began as a series of group houses which offered sensuality/sexuality training under the name of More University. This activity is based on the groups used by More House to bring in new people for such houses and to the classes connected to them. David led such groups with that organization back then and has given them for Live the Dream in more recent years. We will experience the kind of intimate verbal encounter which leads to a deeper understanding of each other and of ourselves. David will also share with us the background of More House and how it became one of the longest lasting cooperative housing experiments of the twentieth century. He will also discuss how it continues to function today — yes it's still out there!

Dance around the May pole with us! Lusty wenches, Shakespearean Theater and the royal
pageantry/rollicking fun of The Queen’s Show. We’ll meet at the opening Parade which starts at 9:30 am.

Will “Taliesin” Jarvis has attended Live the Dream meetings off and on beginning in 1997. Will is a
published author who writes novels on alternative lifestyles and is carrying on for Robert Rimmer, a fellow
New Englander, since Bob’s passing. Will has a wonderful SF novel series, scheduled to be published
later this year, which features poly living, empathic aliens, and diplomatic derring-do on board a star ship—

A 7 year veteran of the Burning Man Festival, Harold is very well versed in the many Alternate Lifestyle
experiences the festival offers, and how this is actively reaching out into Society. We will discuss some of
the many ways Burning Man is spreading many of its primary principles: Radical Inclusion; Radical Selfreliance;
Radical Self-expression; and Communal Effort into mainstream society expanding awareness and
tolerance/acceptance of Polyamory & other Alternate Lifestyles. If time permits, we can watch one of the
various Burning Man documentaries.

Let’s start by getting those of you already receiving this info to more events. What would YOU like in the
way of subjects of discussion, work shops, party themes, activities, etc? Live the Dream usually plans a
camping trip last week end in July. Could be at Lake Cachuma, at a beach in Malibu or ??? If you want
to see something happen, perhaps leading it (or at least calling us at 818-886-0069 to propose it) would be
a good idea…
Family Synergy tends to have meetings in the Orange County area while Live the Dream mostly has them
in the SF Valley. New places to meet would certainly be welcome anywhere in the Greater LA area.
Places with a pool or hot tub and privacy enough for social nudity would be lovely, but if you have room for
10 people to talk in your living room, that would work , too. If you would like more activities to happen
near you—consider having them at YOUR home.
Please do hand out our News Letters at science fiction, New Age, any Poly group meetings/conventions
or any place you go which you feel has kindred spirits in attendance. To get some printed Live the Dream
newsletters—call the LTD hot line (above) or feel free to copy or E-Mail the one you receive. If you are still

groups as the Unitarian Society, Nude Sunbathing groups, etc would also be good places to bring a
brochure.
If you are attending a psych or sociology class on Family, sex , relationships or anything that is about
human interaction, a presentation on Poly living could be arranged. I went to one at a Temple when I
was first in Synergy back in the late 70 s. We were well received and got plenty of (mostly positive) curious
questions. Think about some of the places you might not ordinarily ass-u-me would be open to our life
style. They might surprise you!
