Sauce and Sour Cream), Christmas carols/songs
about the Macabees, dreidels and Winter Solstice
ritual. We'll light the Hanukkah Menorah--this is
the second night. Did we forget a ritual important
to you? Tell us and we'll add it! BRING
stories/songs/poetry to share, your favorite holiday
dish for pot luck supper, and a wrapped science
fiction, fantasy or magickal gift (about $10) for GIFT
EXCHANGE. Kids bring kid gifts to exchange with
each other.

The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert
Heinlein mixes Libertarian politics and
multigenerational (line) group marriage in this tale
of the Lunar Revolution. This kind of marriage best
preserves assets, takes care of kids and creates
FAMILY. We’ll discuss how such a marriage would
work in this society.

It is a movie about her poly relationship with
Nathaniel Branden.

We'll discuss Proposition 31 and The Harrad
Experiment by Robert Rimmer Prop 31 features two
couples and their (between them) four children. It
moves through the couples forming a friendship,
one of the husbands and having a disastrous affair
with the other one's wife which leads to pregnancy
and threatened divorce. Somehow, in unique
Rimmerian fashion, this becomes a loving poly
family raising the new baby together.
Harrad is a fictional college featuring coed
rooming together and a deep study of Human
sexuality and relationships, along with the more
conventional intellectual subjects. This leads to six
of the students becoming deeply involved in the
intimacy of jealousies overcome along with self and
mutual discovery. They form an Improv comedy
troupe (dealing with sexual issues among others) to
put themselves through college. Exchange of
bedmates becomes a dance of joy between friends
and lovers. With graduation, a six way group
marriage is formed.
These books and many of his others contain
bibliographies on alternative lifestyles which show
Rimmer's conscientious attention to research. The
books listed are well worth reading for anyone
wishing to seriously study this subject.

orchids to blossoming cacti. Bring something healthy
and delicious to share.

tropical garden followed by karaoke in a private
room with beautiful scenery running as we sing!
