Live the Dream is an education and support group for those who, originally inspired by the writings of Robert Heinlein, Robert Rimmer and Marion Zimmer Bradley, are now ready to LIVE such alternative lifestyles as cooperative living, open relationships and group marriage.
Many of our concepts on multiply committed relationships come from Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land. Live the Dream also sponsors a Nest of Church of All Worlds, the real life, thirty year old spiritual movement inspired by that same book.
Live the Dream's regular meetings are on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We invite people who are living in group marriages and group houses to present their experiences and give us ideas about what works and what doesn't. We also have discussions on how the possibilities presented in speculative fiction can be made relevant to our lives today. We share such special rituals as Samhain and Winter Solstice along with celebrations of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Passover. We have a camping trip each summer. We have fun and do family things together.

Bio: Terry Brussel is a hypnotherapist, a match maker and a poly counselor. She and her partner Paul have done workshops and seminars on our life style at such places as Lifestyles conventions, Elysium, Loving More conferences, Synergy meetings and science fiction conventions since 1978.
